Many people think of bowling as an individual sport where bowlers try to best one another by getting the highest score. Not known to many casual bowlers is that bowling is also a team sport where teams of 2-6 bowlers can add together their cumulative scores and compare them to any number of other teams. Since people of all ages and abilities can bowl on same lane and join together this creates any number of possibilities. You can build the teams by selecting from certain departments at the office, same area of community group or by making the teams completely random so people that don’t normally know each other or work together will get to meet. You can also reinforce the team building aspect with fun awards such as most spirited team, most improved team and best dressed team (this works well if you pick the teams in advance and encourage participants to colour coordinate or make costumes).

We hosted over 75 team building events at Playtime Bowl in 2014. Boost morale, have fun and team build in 2015 and let Playtime Bowl plan your next team building event!
